About Alexandria (Alex) Sharp

Marriage Family Therapist Intern

Life can tend to throw a wrench in our plans, goals, and expectations, but it is up to us to get back on the path we want to be on.

When we knocked off our path it can be difficult to find our way back to where we want to be on our own and it is okay to seek some guidance to get where you want to be.

No matter the issue, I take a systemic approach in helping you work through the problems you may be facing. Taking a systemic approach means that I look at the relationships you are involved in, your family that you grew up in, the family you currently has, your demographic information, and all the things that help make you the person you are. This approach allows me to find patterns in your life that could be contributing to your current situation. Finding these patterns and your motivation to achieve change is a key combination in helping you move forward through out your therapeutic process.

I specialize in working with families, couples, and individuals. I believe you are the key to your own happiness and my job is to help you unlock that door. My goal is to help you and your loved ones regain control of your life and provide you with the guidance and resources to live it to the fullest. As an intern my confidence is working with people struggling with:

·      Relationship Issues

·      Anxiety

·      Depression

·      Grief

·      Life Transitions

·      Marital and Premarital Dynamics

·      Peer Relationships

·      Self Esteem
